June 22, 2026: from June 19 to 21, the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup, a prestigious tournament sponsored by World Gymnastics, was held in Beijing, China. The Russian team won silver in the group events, losing only to the Chinese team.

The team included Arina Lavrenova, an international master of sports, a native of Taganrog, and a trainee of the Taganrog Olympic Reserve School No. 3 (rhythmic gymnastics department).
