Exhibition of Children's Artworks from Taganrog Opens in Paraguay

July 1, 2026: an exhibition of drawings by students of the Taganrog Blonskaya Art School opened in the city of Asuncion, Paraguay, as part of the Alexander Pushkin Days' celebrations.

The exhibition, prepared specifically for the Russian Center in Paraguay, is dedicated to the life, work, and characters of the great Russian poet.

Residents of the Paraguayan capital were given a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the world of Pushkin's works. This was made possible thanks to an initiative that not only presented the literary legacy of the great poet but also allowed them to appreciate the work of young artists.

The exhibition became the central event of the celebratory program. The event also included readings of Pushkin's works in Russian and Spanish, a discussion of the famous poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila," and a performance of modern musical interpretations of the prologue "A Green Oak by the Sea."

The project was implemented with the active participation and support of Rostov Oblast Ministry of Economic Development, the Russian House in Buenos Aires, and the Russian Center in Paraguay, with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.
