September 25-26, 2010 in the city of Kavala (Greece) with the assistance of the
IBSC Executive Directorate was held the 21st Assembly of IBSC. The Taganrog was represented by Alexander Amerkhanov, President of
Taganrog Interregional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TICCI) and Chairman of IBSC Business Council, Alexander Mirgorodski, Foreign Relations Officer at the Taganrog Local Government, and two representatives of the TICCI.
International Black Sea Club is a non-governmental voluntary organization, created to strengthen business and cultural cooperation between the port cities of the Black Sea basin countries. The Club now consists of 30 cities from 10 Black Sea area countries.
In the Assembly meeting participated representatives from Abkhazia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Romania, Russia, Transnistria, Turkey and Ukraine.
The following issues have been considered during the Assembly: the reports on the Club's activity for the period 2009-2010; the President's and his Executive Directorate's work; considerations of the Club's plans and initiatives for the next year; the affiliation of new Club's members (Anapa, Russia; Temryuk District, Russia; Stavropol, Russia), the new Statute of the IBSC has been adopted.
The Assembly accepted a Greeting Address to the participants of the VIII International Conference "Problems and prospects for development of the cooperation between the countries from the South-East Europe within the frames of the Organization BSEC" which will be held in October 2010 in the city of Istanbul.
The next
IBSC Assembly meeting will be held in Azov, Russia in September 2011, the meeting of IBSC Management Board will be held in Galati, Romania in May 2011.
