December 21, 2023: Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev and the director general of "Gazprom Sotsialnye Initsiativy ("Gazprom Social Initiatives") foundation Vladimir Priymak signed an agreement regarding the implementation of Pushkin Embankment's renovation in the framework of the international forum "Russia," held at VDNKh Expo (the All-Union Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy) in Moscow.


The work is to be carried out in three stages at the expense of the fund. The first stage revolves around the reconstruction of the central part of Pushkin Embankment. At subsequent stages, the bank protection and beautification of the seaside promenade are to be completed. Vladimir Priymak assured that the whole program would be completed on time. According to Taganrog City Manager Andrey Fateyev, the implementation of the second and third stages will be discussed with the fund after the completion of the first stage.

"On December 12, I visited Taganrog again and took notice of good dynamics. I saw that the contractor had begun implementing the embankment project, and today there is full understanding that the work will be finished in the summer of next year. The citizens will get a noticeable part of the territory adjacent to the embankment, and there is more to be done," said Vasily Golubev after signing the agreement.
