May 23, 2022: the 2022 Open Sailing Cup of Belarus was held in the Minsk Sea (Zaslawskaye Reservoir) on May 17-22. Among the participants were 40 Russians led by the head coach Natalia Ivanova.
Over 200 athletes competed in the 420, Cadet, Laser 4.7, Optimist, RS:X (youth); IQFoil, the 470, Laser, Laser Radial, and Luch Mini (professionals) categories.
As a result, athletes from Rostov Oblast succeeded in yet another sports competition. Alisa Yeschenko, a trainee from Taganrog, finished third in the Laser Radial class.
In September 2021, Alisa Yeschenko won gold in the Laser Radial class at Russian Junior Sailing Championships, held by St. Petersburg Yacht Club in the Gulf of Finland.
