July 10: after the first HSK language exams conducted in April 2017 by Confucius Institute and "Peking" language school (《北京》俱乐部), a delegation of the Taganrog-based Chinese language club was invited to Elista - capital of the autonomous republic of Kalmykia to visit the Kalmyk State University.

Mr. Vladimir Li met with Mr. Namzhavin Sodmon and Mrs. Zhen Fan - representatives of Confucius Institute at The Kalmyk State University - to discuss the prospects for further cooperation and participation in several China-Russia intercultural exchange programs. The delegation from Taganrog visited the University, Chinese language camp for kids and Oriental Studies department's classrooms.


Within the framework of the cooperation, the first intensive spoken Chinese course was held by a certified Confucius Institute teacher Mr. Wang Xugang. The parties reached an agreement to recognize the Taganrog-based "Peking" club as a certified school to offer The Confucius Institute Chinese language courses.
