July 27, 2022: At the initiative of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, a branch of the state organization Rostec), a working meeting on possible cooperation with Taganrog was held on July 26. Taganrog-based Beriev Aircraft Corp., which designed several well-known aircrafts, including the amphibian Be-200, has been a part of UAC.

The event brought together Beriev's managing director Pavel Pavlov, Taganrog City Council President and City Executive Inna Titarenko, deputy Vladimir Karagodin, representatives of Rostov Oblast Ministry of Industry and Energy, members of Rostov Oblast Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

According to UAC, the corporation is currently drafting a proposal on developing a social partnership program for Taganrog and the region, similar to the one that had already been approved by the authorities of Khabarovsk Krai. It is intended to go beyond the bounds of Beriev Aircraft Corp. and get involved in beautification works within the framework of Taganrog's urban revitalisation program.

The meeting resulted in an agreement that the parties are continuing working together on the social partnership program.
