February 11, 2019: Wikimedia RU, the Association of Honorary Citizens, Mentors and Talented Youth, and the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation announced the last call for entries for "Discover the World. Start with the Sister Cities" Contest.

The competition is dedicated to tourist attractions of Russian cities and regions and their foreign sister cities and partner territories. There are three main nominations:


Nomination # 1 - articles in Russian about tourist attractions of foreign sister cities and partner territories of Russian cities and districts.

Nomination # 2 - articles in the official languages of countries and regions (except Russian), in which foreign sister cities and partner territories of Russian cities and regions are located, about tourist attractions of their Russian sister cities and partner territories.

Nomination # 3 - free illustrations of tourist attractions of Russian cities and regions and their foreign sister cities and partner territories.

The closing date for entries deadline is March 1, 2019.
