November 22, 2021: Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev visited Taganrog within the framework of a working trip to the city on November 20. He was accompanied by the First Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Andrey Yatskin, the president of "Sinara Group" Dmitry Pumpyansky, Rostov Oblast Deputy Governor Alexander Skryabin, Rostov Oblast Minister of Health Yuri Kobzev and others.

The delegation inspected the process of dismantling of old tram rails (Dzerzhinsky Street and Morozov Street) and visited Children's Health Center #2, whose improvement works are nearing completion.


According to Dmitry Pumpyansky, 9.9 km (6.15 mi) of rails have been dismantled along the tramline # 2. The line will resume its service in the 1st quarter of 2022. Until the end of the same year, the entire renovation of Taganrog streetcar system will be completed.

A working meeting was held on the premises of Taganrog City Hall later the same day. Governor Vasily Golubev reminded of the need to develop a unified improvement concept for the city's embankment and commercial seaport. The First Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Andrey Yatskin expressed his intention to personally monitor its implementation.

It should be noted that Andrey Yatskin visited Taganrog three times in this year - in May, in June, and in September.
