December 22, 2021: Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev visited Taganrog within the framework of a working trip to the city on December 21.

Vasily Golubev inspected Taganrog Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 3. He discussed the project of major repairs of the yacht club building and reinforcement of the waterfront with Rostov Oblast Deputy Governor Alexander Skryabin, Rostov Oblast Minister of Sport Samvel Arakelyan, Taganrog City Manager Mikhail Solonitsin, director of Taganrog Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 3 Olga Tishchenko and others.


Governor was updated on the renovation concept for Pushkin Embankment. He also visited "Alferaki Palace", which is a part of Taganrog Group of Museums.

During the follow-up meeting held at the Chekhov Public Library both past and future actions on Taganrog's urban revitalisation program were discussed. The participants tackled the topics related to infrastructure upgrading, improvement works in public areas, and preservation of cultural heritage sites.


"The implementation of this plan will improve Taganrog's tourism competitiveness. It would also contribute to maintaining our natural resources and achieving higher comfort levels for Taganrog residents and visitors", said Mikhail Solonitsin.
