August 5, 2019: HUAWEI Russia and Southern Federal University signed a strategic partnership memorandum last week. The ceremony was held in the main building of the Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don.

The parties agreed to start cooperation aimed at development of interaction in the scientific field, personnel training, as well as promoting the brands of organization. HUAWEI was represented by Leo Lee, president of HUAWEI brand of the Consumer Business Group in Russia. Southern Federal University was represented by Yakov Aslanov, Vice-Rector for Academic activities and Youth Affairs and Evgeni Mukhanov, Vice-Rector for Innovation Activities and International Cooperation and other representatives.


Directors of educational and scientific Institutes of Southern Federal University, located both in Rostov and Taganrog. Among Taganrog representatives of Southern Federal University were Alexandr Fedotov, Director of Institute of Nanotechnologies, Electronics and Equipment Engineering, Anton Boldyrev, Director of Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control, Aleksey Lozovoy, Associate Professor of Institute of Institute of Management in Economic, Ecological and Social Systems also took part in the ceremony.
