January 21, 2022:
Krasny Kotelshchik of the "EnergoMashinostroitelny Alliance" (PJSC "EMAlliance") group is to produce and supply high-pressure preheaters for coal-fired thermal power station Ekibastuz GRES-1, located in the town of Ekibastuz, Republic of Kazakhstan. It is the largest thermal power plant included in the consolidated power system of Kazakhstan.
Kazakh company KBI Energy signed an agreement with the Taganrog-based plant covering the whole rework package to refurbish the Unit 1, which was launched into service in March 1980.
The same kind of heat exchange equipment was supplied by
TKZ in 2014 within the framework of Unit no. 2 modernization at Ekibastuzskaya GRES-1.
The equipment complies with all regulations, including Technical Regulations of the Customs Union, TRCU. It is scheduled to be shipped in 2022, and to be commissioned in 2023.
