June 21, 2012: OST-EURO GmbH, a German company active in the field of consultancy for municipalities in Russia visited the city of Taganrog. The working visit was planned by GIZ ( German Academy for International Cooperation), the "Council of Municipal Corporations of Rostov Oblast" Association, Rostov City Local Government and Taganrog Local Government within the framework of the project "Reform of Russian municipal enterprises". The delegation was headed by Dr Ulrich Teichmann, accompanied by Dr Emil Markwart, expert on Russian Law working in Russia since 1992 and regional manager for Rostov Oblast and Perm Krai, and Svetlana Isupova, assistant regional manager.


The German guests were received in the Mayor's Office by Vladimir Prasolov, where both sides discussed the opportunities for private and public partnership and possibilities of its implementation in the city of Taganrog. After the meeting with the press the delegation visited boiler houses and control center owned by municipal enterprise Teploenergo, and memorial museums "Chekhov Gymnasium" and "Birth House of Anton Chekhov".
