July 4, 2017: three teachers and social workers from St. Joseph children's home (Haus St. Josef) in sister-city Lüdenscheid, Germany - Mr. Anatoly Jantsen, Mrs. Susanne Hattwig and Mr. Dennis Göktas are visiting Taganrog within the framework of reciprocal exchanges of experience with Taganrog children's assistance center Nr. 3. The partnership between the two institutions was initiated three years ago by Mrs. Lyudmila Sveshnikova of Taganrog Management and Economics College.


During their visit, German guests participated in the round table discussion with teachers and social workers of the children's homes of the city and Taganrog Department of Education. Many educational and teaching methods have been discussed. The teachers from Lüdenscheid presented their system of working with minors at conflict with the law and stressed the mutual benefit of such meetings.

The guests from Lüdenscheid also visited the city of Starocherkassk, Taganrog group of museums, the Church of All Saints in the Old Christian cemetery, St. Nicolas Church, central marketplace etc.
