June 8, 2021: the European Archery Championships was held in the city of Antalya (Turkey) from May 31 to June 6, 2021. Yelena Osipova from Taganrog took part in the competition as a member of the Russian national team.
Russian Federation women's national archery team, including Yelena Osipova, won gold medals in final tournament phase on June 6. During the mixed teams tournament Elena Osipova together with Aldar Tsibekzhapov won another gold medal and therefore became a two-time European champion.
It is also noteworthy that within the first day of the Championships (the qualification phase) Yelena Osipova set a new European record (684 points) at the shooting distance of 70 meters.
