September 25, 2012: representatives of the Italian company System Group (http://www.tubi.net/en/) headed by Emanuele Boscarini (Italiana Corrugati SpA., Managing Director) visited the city of Taganrog. The group comprises 17 production facilities in Europe (Italy, Spain, Romania, France, etc). The Italian side expressed an interest to invest in Russian economy and fixed upon investment sites in Taganrog, which meet all conditions for launching production of pipes and fittings for water, irrigation, gas, drainage. The guests visited the investment sites located on the territory of Beriev Aircraft Corp. and "PressMash" factory.


The Italian delegation met with Oleg N. Demenev, First Deputy Mayor of Taganrog at the Taganrog City Hall. Mr. Demenev shared the information about plans and negotiations with Austrian company BAUER GmbH that are underway regarding construction of an irrigation equipment factory in Taganrog. The First Deputy Mayor highlighted that joined efforts of Taganrog's foreign partners - from Austria and Italy - would help to solve the current problems of the city: modernization and development of infrastructure, creation of new jobs, stimulating additional assignments to the municipal budget. The project might fill the needs of the whole North-Caucasus region in the products of this kind, considering the current growth and expansion of gas networks.



The Italian side explained that Taganrog is a good choice in terms of convenient geographic location, and developed transport infrastructure - a wide network of railroads, highways, and a seaport. Emanuel Boscarini pointed out that he understands the presence of strong competition, and with that in mind the company has plans to develop "step-by-step", gradually founding and developing the production line.
