Yelena Osipova Wins Silver at 2021 World Archery Championships in Yankton, USA

September 27, 2021: Yelena Osipova from Taganrog won her silver medal at the World Archery Championships (the city of Yankton, the USA). Yelena Osipova and Galsan Bazarzhapov representing RAF (Russian Archery Federation) lost to An San and Kim Woo-jin in the final of mixed recurve archery event (0-6).

"I am glad to get this medal, but there is still much work to be done", wrote Yelena on her official Instagram account.

Earlier Yelena Osipova claimed her first silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo as a member of the ROC women's national archery team and her second silver medal in women's individual archery event.

She was among the athletes to receive the state award - the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the first class.
