"Of course, I wanted to be first, but I am happy with silver all the same. I am really satisfied I have won so many medals this year", Yelena Osipova said.

This silver medal matches the best-ever result for Russian women at world championships (Ksenia Perova won her silver in 2017). Earlier Yelena Osipova claimed her first silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo as a member of the ROC women's national archery team and her second silver medal in women's individual archery event.

She was among the athletes to receive the state award - the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the first class.
