October 14-20, 2012: Taganrog Local Government's delegation headed by Konstantin Savenko, Chief of Taganrog Economic Development Dept. visited Austria to establish a framework for economic cooperation.

The main destination was the headquarters of Röhren- und Pumpenwerk BAUER Gesellschaft m.b.H. in the town of Voitsberg (Styria) to build in Taganrog a factory producing irrigation systems & equipment. Taganrog delegation visited two BAUER factories and signed a cooperation memorandum stipulating the construction of the mentioned factory in the territory of Taganrog.


The program of the visit also included: FRAPOL - a company specializing in production of plastic or paper bags, packaging films, polyethylene sacks etc. in Guntersdorf, Austria; Rinterzelt - a waster treatment plant in Vienna; and Ecoplast Kunstoff-Recylcing GmbH in Wildon, Austia specializing in recycling soiled plastics refuse of polyethylene (PET) in the form of foils, tubes and tubular products.
