Krasny Kotelshchik Ships Unique Equipment to Vietnam

October 2, 2017: On the 16th of September, a deaerator of 32 m in length and 5 m in diameter was dispatched from the territory of Krasny Kotelshchik plant (TKZ), to Taganrog Commercial Seaport for further transportation to the Vietnamese thermal power plant Long Phu-1. The Taganrog-based factory has producing an equipment of such dimensions for the first time in its history.

The deaerator, with a volume of 400 cbm, was developed for the Long Phu-1 TPP 600 MW power unit, and was designed according to a basic design developed by the Stork company. The deaerator without a deaeration column is the first such product in the history of Krasny Kotelshchik. The equipment's mechanical features allow a considerable reduction of the costs for its installation and putting into operation.

This is also the first time when such equipment was shipped fully assembled; earlier the enterprise manufactured smaller deaerators, which were delivered only in a completely knocked-down state.

An ocean-going vessel will take the deaerator from Taganrog Commercial Seaport, to the Ho Chi Minh port in Vietnam and then, to the Long Phu-1 TPP. The length of the sea voyage will amount to 5841.06 nautical miles (10817.64 km). The time spent in transit will be fifty days.

The boiler factory, a member of Power Machines group of companies and "EnergoMashinostroitelny Alliance" (PJSC "EMAlliance") has been participating in new international projects.
