Alexander Bozhko's team wins Kezenoy-Am Cup 2017 and "The Akhmat" Supercup

July 14, 2017: The Russian team ARTTUBE Rus-1, captained by the Taganrog yachtmaster Alexander Bozhko won both Kezenoy-Am Cup 2017 and the Supercup "Akhmat".

The sailing events of the first international sailing regatta in the Chechen history were held on lake Kezenoy Am, located at 1870 meters above sea level on the border of Chechnya and Dagestan. The competition was held on one-design SB20 sportboats. In total 19 amateur and professional teams from Russia, Germany, Croatia, USA, New Zealand, Montenegro and Czech Republic came to participate in the racing.

The teams were divided into two groups (team/individual races), and after the qualifying round the final was held on the third day of the competition. In addition to winning the Group One, the team ArtTube Rus-1 came first in the superfinal of 2017 Supercup "Akhmat". Taganroger Alexander Bozhko and his team were additionally awarded a special presidential prize for the Supercup - a cash certificate for 1.5 million rubles, given on the occasion of the first regatta held in the republic. All the winners were awarded personally by the Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov.
