September 5, 2013: MAKS-2013, the 11th International Aviation and Space Show, was traditionally held near Moscow, Russia on Zhukovskiy LII air field August 27 - September 1, 2013.
Beriev Aircraft Corp. participated in MAKS-2013 as part of the United Aircraft Corporation. Beriev's booth represented information on current and prospective projects of the Company including Be-200 amphibious aircraft and its modifications.
Be-200ES amphibious aircraft belonging to RF EMERCOM and AWACS A-50U aircraft being in operational service with the Russian Air Force were demonstrated at the static display.
August 29, 2013 within the framework of the air show, specialists of
Beriev Aircraft Corp. met with spare parts suppliers for Be-200ES.
The meeting was finalized by signing a number of contracts for delivery of units and spare parts with the following companies:
- Motor Sich (Zaporizhia, Ukraine) for D-436TP engines,
- R&D Establishment JSC for flight and navigation system,
- Aviation Technologies and Interior Center LLC for interiors,
- SPECTR R&D Establishment for computing tools for engine control systems,
- KRISTALL Experimental Design Bureau for auxiliary on-board systems.
The MAKS-2013 was a successful show for
Beriev Aircraft Corp.. Russian and foreign customers showed interest in aviation equipment manufactured by the company. Beriev's representatives conducted a number of negotiations and created a foundation for further cooperation with private and state enterprises and government institutions of a large variety of countries.
