September 16-25, 2011: the 8th International Theater Festival "In The Homeland of Anton Chekhov" will be held in Taganrog. The theater companies from Moscow, Krasnodar, Saint Petersburg, Melikhovo, Penza, Taganrog, Omsk and Nikolaev (Ukraine) will be performing on the stage of the
Taganrog Chekhov Drama Theater. Taganrogers and visitors of the city are waiting to see the best directors' and actors' work in the plays by
Anton Chekhov, Henrik Ibsen etc.

- September 18, 2011 at 5PM "An Enemy of the People" by Henrik Ibsen (Taganrog Theater)
- September 19, 2011 at 6PM "With all one's might" by Vladimir Krupin (Omsk State Drama Theater "Galerka")
- September 22, 2011 at 6PM "The Man in a Shell" by Anton Chekhov (Taganrog Theater)
- September 23, 2011 at 6PM "The Sacred Book of the Werewolf" by Victor Pelevin ("Takoy Theater", Saint Petersburg)
