April 16, 2009: The results of the
International theater festival dedicated to the literary heritage of Nikolai Gogol in Donetsk, Ukraine have been announced.
The play "Wedding" of the
Taganrog Chekhov Drama Theater directed by the Peoples' Artist of Russia and winner of the State Prize Anatoly Ivanov received first prizes in several nominations: best director, best screenplay (Honored Artist of Russia - Larisa Nagolova) and the best actor (character of Kochkarev played by Sergey Gert - the Honored Artist of Russia and director of the Taganrog Chekhov Theater).
