November 10-11, 2012: the production "Passions of Romeo, Like/Unlike" based on Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliette" within the framewok of an international theater project IUGTE premiered on stage of the Taganrog Chekhov Drama Theater, being the result of cooperation with the International Physical Theatre Laboratory directed by Sergey Ostrenko (Great Britain).

The opening night was very successful. The audience was excited and the only regret was that the production is leaving the Taganrog Theater - it will be shown to public in Europe. The first performance will be held on stage of in the town of Massa (Italy) in December 2012.

IUGTE is the non-governmental non-profit organization founded in 2000. The organization was established with the purpose of exploring the bridge between world theatre traditions and contemporary performing arts, developing international programmes, promoting multicultural dialogue, supporting the freedom of creative expression and tolerance through the acquaintance with the diversity of world traditions.
