June 11, 2014: delegation of Lumière University Lyon 2 visited Taganrog Teachers College (branch of Rostov State University of Economics). Six French students - Camilla, Antoine, Marie, Quentin, Laura and Antoine came to Russia within the framework of an international exchange program to study Russian language and culture.

The guests visited city's tourist attractions: Chekhov Gymnasium Literary, Museum, Birth House of Anton Chekhov, Peter the Great Monument and walked through historical downtown area, learning many new facts from life of the Russian playwright and short-story writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov.

After the city tour, a meeting with Russian students who learn French was held at the faculty of foreign languages studies of Taganrog Teachers College.
