May 29, 2010 official delegation of the city of Taganrog, headed by the President of the Taganrog Interregional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alexander Amerkhanov visited the sister city of Mariupol within the framework of celebrations of Europe Days in the Ukraine.
Among the participants of the event were the leaders of diplomatic missions of European countries in the Ukraine headed by the Ambassador of European Union in the Ukraine Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira, with ambassadors and other diplomats from 18 countries of the E.U.
The members of the Taganrog delegation participated in the official opening ceremony of Europe Days, planted trees at the Alley of Europe, which was inaugurated in the square of Mariupol Drama Theater, and laid flowers to the Great Patriotic War monuments.
