November 2, 2017: President of Taganrog Interregional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TICCI) Mr. Alexander Amerkhanov and general director of mobility and logistics company MARSHALL Mr. Igor Benyaminov attended the 8th Russian-Abkhazian business forum in Sukhum, Abkhazia.

The event was organized by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Abkhazian Ministry of Economic Affairs. Over 400 participants came to attend the forum: government officials, representatives of the business community, leading figures from academia and industry and community leaders.

Experts from Russia and Abkhazia discussed the need to deepen and broaden interaction and constructive cooperation in the areas of tourism, entrepreneurship, as well as effective marketing tools to promote trade and economic relations between the two countries. The forum program included a plenary meeting, a session of the Russian-Abkhazian Business Council, discussions in four round tables and a contact exchange with company leaders.

Within the framework of the forum, representatives of TICCI met with trade representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia. The parties discussed the prospects for comprehensive relations between Taganrog and Abkhazia and adopted guidelines for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
