August 11, 2020: another set of restrictions has been lifted in Rostov Oblast. Public catering establishments resumed their work since August 10, 2020, while maintaining all health and safety regulations, comprehensive sanitation, air sanitizing by UV-lamps and regular air change.
On the same day the companies offering guided tours also recommenced their work. The number of walking tour participants is currently limited to 25, while tour buses may be only half full, with mandatory face coverings.
As of August 11, 2020, 14361 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast region, and 11640 persons have already recovered. 132 people stay under regular medical supervision in the city of Taganrog. 280 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the city.
Taganrog Local Government has released several public announcements urging residents above 65 years of age to stay home to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the most vulnerable in this community, and to consider social distancing of at least 1.5 meters/5 feet.
