December 20, 2021: Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev's regulation, signed on December 16, comes into force today. Some of anti-COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, owing to improved epidemiologic situation.
In particular, planned medical assistance will be available again in 27 municipal entities, including Taganrog. The activity of dance floors in public catering establishments is now authorized.
The ban on entertainment events is partially lifted. The events are allowed to be held from 6AM to 9PM. However, the number of visitors is limited to 50 per cent of the maximum capacity.
It is noteworthy that the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation Anna Popova reduced the term of validity of PCR test from 72 to 48 hours. Certificate of Recovery from COVID-19 is now valid for one year (instead of the previous 6 months).
Earlier Rostov Oblast Health Ministry reported that
the number of beds in Rostov Oblast's COVID-19 hospitals had been reduced by at least one and a half times within the last three weeks.
As of December 20, 188479 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast, and 164595 people have already recovered.
