February 12, 2021: yesterday Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev signed a regulation on the easing of COVID-19 related restrictions within the majority of municipalities, including Taganrog.

According to the amendments, food courts and ice skating rinks on the territory of malls will be reopened. The maximum allowable capacity of cinema halls and gyms is going to be increased up to 50 per cent. Furthermore, planned medical assistance and official reception of citizens will be resumed. Town fairs are allowed, too.

The amendments will come into effect on February 15. However, the easing of restrictions will not affect the municipalities of red zone, such as Gukovo, Zverevo, Egorlyksky, Bokovsky, Oblivsky, Remontnensky, Tatsinsky, Zernogradsky, and Tarasovsky districts.

As of February 12, 67662 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast region, and 57836 persons have already recovered.
