March 23, 2022: Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev wrote on his official VKontakte page that wearing face masks due to the continuing threat of COVID-19 still remains mandatory in the region.
"All decisions related to COVID-19 measures are made by the regional COVID-19 operational staff. The further easing of restrictions depends on the further improvement of the situation," wrote Vasily Golubev.
Earlier QR codes and social distancing were lifted in Rostov Oblast.
As of March 23, 356528 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast.
