March 24, 2022: Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev signed a regulation on rolling back of some of COVID-19 restrictions due to improved epidemiological situation.
In particular, regular medical treatment has been fully enabled (100 per cent of beds in hospitals instead of previous 50 per cent). The same goes for medical check-ups and clinical examinations. Self-isolation for the elderly and persons with chronic diseases is not mandatory anymore, though still recommended.
In addition to this, children from other Russian regions are now allowed to enter Rostov Oblast, and children campgrounds may start their operation in the upcoming warm season.
As of March 24, 2022 357349 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast, and 338464 people have already recovered.
