Tactical Missiles Corporation officially commissioned The Taganrog Foundry

April 2, 2015: Tactical Missiles Corporation JSC officially commissioned the Taganrog Foundry, with Corporation's general director Boris Obnosov, Rostov Oblast governor Vasily Golubev and mayor of Taganrog Vladimir Prasolov launching the new line by pressing the symbolic "start" button.

The Foundry has been equipped with modern equipment of the leading European companies, giving the capacity to produce 15000 tons of irons castings per year:

• DISA 131Z vertical boxless molding line produced by DISA INDUSTRIES A/S (Denmark);
• EGES induction furnaces (Turkey);
• Automatic pouring device by ABP (Germany)
• DISA TM sand plant;
• DISA MP25-45 core plant;
• WHEELABRATOR shot blasting machine (Germany).

Taganrog Foundry Commissioned April 2, 2015

The Taganrog Foundry has already signed business contracts for 7000 tons of iron castings with 15 companies, including Russian Railways JSC. Tactical Missiles Corporation JSC invested some 650 million rubles in the project, creating 150 new jobs.

Governor Golubev highlighted the importance of the new factory in Taganrog, contributing to strengthening the industrial production in Rostov Oblast: "This modern foundry is a working import-substituting production, with guaranteed demand and orders from transportation providers and housing & utilities companies. Most products made by this factory used to be imported. The start of production is an impulse for economy development and municipal budget replenishment".

The Taganrog Foundry along with Taganrog-based Krasny Gidropress JSC are members of Tactical Missiles Corporation JSC, is the largest multi-industrial engineering company on the south of Russia, manufacturing both defense and civil products well-known on domestic and foreign markets.
