April 9, 2019: Pavel Lvov, an athlete from Taganrog, won a gold medal at the 24th JKA European Championships in karate 2019. The competitions took place in the sports center Stavanger Idrettshall in Stavanger, Norway on April 6, 2019.
More than 300 athletes representing 23 European countries participated in the championships. Pavel Lvov earned 41.3 points and finished first in the senior men kata category. A year ago the karateka from Taganrog won a silver medal at the previous edition of JKA European Championships in Serbia.
