June 3, 2024: TMK-TAGMET, the table tennis team sponsored by TAGMET plant, won bronze medals of the Russian Premier League.

The team from Taganrog ranked 5th in the 2023-2024 regular season. In the play-off round, TMK-TAGMET defeated SDYuSShOR No. 13 - NOK (the city of Nizhny Novgorod, 3-0) and UGMK Reserves (the city of Verkhnyaya Pyshma, 3-1). They lost to the primary team of UGMK (0-3, 0-3) in the semifinals.

Comparing to the previous season, the three medalist remained unaltered: TMK-TAGMET (bronze), Samarochka (the city of Samara, silver) and UGMK (gold).

Over the 12 years in the Russian Premier League, TMK-TAGMET have ranked 3rd six times and have become vice-champions and champions once each.
