February 28, 2019: the first round of the XIV CMAS Finswimming World Cup 2019 series was held by the Hungarian Divers Federation in the city of Eger, Hungary on February 22-25, 2019.
The competition was attended by young divers representing the Taganrog Specialized School #13 for Olympic trainees. Among participants from Taganrog who took prizes were Dmitrii Adalin and Nikita Repka. Dmitri Adalin won two gold medals (Boys 14-17 50 LC Meter Apnoe and Boys 12-17 50 LC Meter Surface) and a silver medal (Boys 12-17 100 LC Meter Immersion). Another diver from Taganrog - Nikita Repka - won a gold medal (Boys 12-17 100 LC Meter Surface) a bronze (Boys 14-17 50 LC Meter Apnoe).
Athletes from Taganrog made a great contribution into medal count for Team Russia and will be competing for the national team at the Finswimming European Championships Senior, which will be held in June 2019 in Ioannina, Greece.
