March 25, 2014: Athletes from Taganrog brought home a collection of medals from the 2nd round of Finswimming World Cup 2014, which was held in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy on March 14-16, 2014.
Valeria Baranovskaya won a gold medal, setting the new world record at Womens' 200 meters distance, with another gold for 100 meters distance and a silver medal for 50 meters distance.
Alexandra Naumova was the first at Womens' 50 meters distance, and came second at 200 meters and 100 meters distance for silver.
Both Baranovskaya and Naumova were part of the Russian team that won the gold medal at Womens' 4 x 100 meters relay.
Pavel Lagunov won a silver medal at Men's 100 meters distance and bronze at 50 meters and 200 meters distance.
