September 16, 2008: On September 11, 2008, the final round of the Russian National Triathlon Cup was held in Taganrog. Anton Kozlov (from the city of Penza) was the first in the young men's competition. Anastasia Vasilieva (from the city of Penza) was the first in women's competition. Igor Polyanski showed the best result in the men juniors' category, and Yelena Danilova - the best result in women juniors' category.
The two first places in the mens' category were also taken by triathletes from Penza Oblast: Nikolay Yaroshenko and Vladimir Turbaevski. Maria Guz’ (from Saint Petersburg) was the first in the women's category.
After completion of the Taganrog round, the results of the Russian Triathlon Cup were drawn. The winners in the age groups are: Anton Kozlov (Penza) with 270 points in young men's category; Anastasia Vasilieva (Penza) with 239 points in young women's category; Dmitri Esaulov (Volgograd region) with 424 points in men juniors’ category; Alexandra Razaryonova (Saint Petersburg) with 439 points in women juniors’ category; Anton Chuchko (Moscow – Yaroslav Oblast) with 437 points in men's category and Olga Dmirtrieva (Saint Petersburg) with 481 points in the women's category.
