May 28, 2021: the interregional inclusive festival "Football Is a School of Life" was held at Taganrog's Torpedo Stadium yesterday, on the eve of International Children's Day. It was a part of the annual all-Russian charity action "Under the Flag of Kindness!" and lies within the framework of the federal project "Sport Is a Way of Life".


Before the start of the festival, medical certificates were distributed to children needing expensive treatments and operations. These certificates allow treatment in the best Russian clinics. Approximately 2 million roubles were gathered for the charity action this year (53 million 635 thousand roubles in total).

The festival featured several events, including a friendly football match, a round table on adaptive physical activities, performances of Taganrog athletes and creative teams from "Festivalny" Community Center.


The charity foundation "Under the Flag of Kindness!" was established by prominent political and public figures with the purpose of targeted financial aid to children in need of expensive treatment. National charity actions are held under patronage of the Russian Ministry of Health and are supported by Russian Ministry of Science and Education, Russian Ministry of Sports and regional governments.
