January 25, 2022: preparations to renovate Pushkinskaya Embankment are underway in Taganrog. The public debates were held within the framework of a seminar (foresight session) on January 23. The project master plan will be presented by Project Dal Team (@project.dal.team) and architectural firm "ETO".


Representatives of Taganrog Local Government, IT industry, urban business as well as the general public and interested citizens gathered to discuss the matter. The participants, organized into teams, shared their ideas on the upcoming renovation. Among the named priority issues were reinforcement of the waterfront, sanitation infrastructure improvement, beach area extension, and the revival of Solnechny Beach.


The results of public debates will become part of the final urban development document. Earlier Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev had requested city authorities to draft a detailed renovation plan by March 2022.


It is noteworthy that Rostov Oblast Deputy Governor Alexander Skryabin once again visited Taganrog within the framework of a working trip on January 21. Among the problems discussed was the upcoming relocation of State Small Vessels Inspectorate office from the embankment area.
