September 10, 2025: a renovated office of Sberbank, commonly known as Sber, opened in Taganrog, Ulitsa Chekhova 128-1. This one is especially interesting for its new design, inspired with the literary and cultural heritage of Taganrog-born playwright and short-story writer Anton Chekhov.

The opening ceremony brought together Taganrog City Executive Svetlana Kambulova, director of the Taganrog Group of Museums (TGLIAMZ) Yelizaveta Lipovenko, and executive manager of Sber's regional branch Konstantin Bugrim.


Now, after the re-design, the office walls are decorated, inter alia, with the titles of the writer's works; his portrait with the caption "Sber in Chekhov's orbit"; a map with Chekhov-related places in Taganrog; and QR code for his audiobooks.

"I am sure that such an unusual combination of aesthetics and functionality of the Sber office will create a special atmosphere, appreciated by both city residents and tourists. And this office will become a point of attraction," said Svetlana Kambulova.
