October 26, 2020: Southern Federal University's College of Computer Technologies and Information Security (Taganrog) hosted the 3rd International scientific conference FTNCT-2020 "The Future Trends in Networking and Computing". It was organized in cooperation with Jaypee University of Information Technology (India).
The conference is considered an important IT-event. More than 80 scientists from India, Russia, Argentina, Cuba, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and Tunisia took part in the conference this year. There were discussion clubs, in which participants exchanged their views on the presented papers and expanded their cooperation.
Among the tackled topics were: Computer-Assisted Teaching, data mining, wireless communication, big data, cloud computing, augmented reality, image processing, mobile and optical communication. It is worthwhile to mention an Indian researchers' report on potential for use of artificial intelligence tools to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
It was the first time for this international conference to take place outside of India. Due to the current epidemiological situation, it was held in online mode.
