August 30, 2021: International Military-Technical Forum ARMY-2021 took place in the territory of The Patriot Park (part of the Peoples' Museum of Military History "Sambek Heights"). Military and civilian officers as well as a large number of local residents attended the events.


Within three days (August 27-29), about 100 units of new military equipment and more than 70 examples of small arms and light weapons alongside close combat weapons were presented by soldiers of the 8th Combined-Arms Army of the Southern Military District.


Visitors had an opportunity to see of both historical and advanced high-tech weaponry, including ones that have never being exposed before. In total, 18 elements of military tactics were shown. Among them were "tank ballets" ("tank waltz") performed by battle tanks and armored vehicles; demonstration flights of aircraft; activities of special forces, air defence forces, military police, engineers, and repair units.


The forum activities were held while maintaining all health and safety regulations. In particular, the visitors had to submit certificates of vaccination, PCR tests or antibodies verification documents.
