November 7, 2022: International and All-Russian Sailing Cup "The 31st Gelendzhik Regatta" was held in the city of Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Krai on October 28 - November 4. About 1,000 athletes from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan participated in the competitions.
Trainees of Taganrog Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 3 performed well at the tournament. Dmitry Timofeev won gold in the Laser Standard category. In the Laser Radial, two Taganrog athletes at once brought home medals - Yaroslav Nikushin (gold) and Kirill Podgorny (bronze). Vadim Poberezhny stopped a step away from his bronze in the Laser Radial under-17 category.
