July 23, 2025: the All-Russian Canoe Championships is taking place in the city of Moscow July 16-26. Over 300 athletes from 30 regions were competing at such distances as 200 meters, 500 meters, 1000 meters, and 5000 meters.

Trainees of the Taganrog Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 3 performed well in the competition. A remarkable success was achieved by Maxim Spesivtsev, who brings home four gold medals (in men's kayak single 500 m, 1,000 m, 5,000 m, and men's kayak quad 500 m).


Vitaly Yershov got three medals — a gold one in men's kayak quad 500 m and two silver medals in men's kayak double 500 m and men's kayak single 500 m.

Olesya Kozeyeva won gold in women's kayak quad 500 m, bronze in women's kayak single 500 m, and another bronze in women's kayak double 1,000 m. Nikita Kozeyev got silver in men's kayak double 500 m.

We congratulate the athletes and their coaches Anatoly Tishchenko and Oleg Kozeyev on the successful performance and wish them every success in their further careers, as well as new victories and major achievements.

It is expected that Maxim Spesivtsev, Vitaly Yershov, Olesya Kozeyeva, and Nikita Kozeyev are to participate in the World Canoe Sprint Championships (August 20-24, Milan, Italy) and the Goodwill Cup 2025 (August 26-31, Moscow, Russia).
