February 22, 2022: Taganrog became one of the cities in Rostov Oblast,
lodging refugees due to the deteriorating situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics as Ukrainian forces and neo-Nazi militias continue to attack Donbass.
Local places of temporary accommodation (PTA) continue their work. The largest one is located in the Sports Palace of Taganrog Youth Sports School No. 13 (Ulitsa Lenina, 212), with maximum capacity up to 500 people.
