September 13, 2016: "Tase Milosevski" from the city of Resen, Macedonia performed onstage of the open-air theater in Taganrog's Gorky Park and in the historical building of
Taganrog Chekhov Drama Theater within the framework of City Day celebrations.
The dancing group is participating in the 16th edition of International Festival of Folk Arts from CIS and Baltic States "Sodruzhestvo" ("Commonwealth").
Members of "Tase Milosevski" performed in bright national costumes, manually embroidered in silken and woollen threads. The group was founded more than 70 years ago and consists of dance company and a vocal and instrumental group.
Slavic costumes, authentic and lively dances, live and vibrant music left a good impression on Taganrog audience. The concerts given in the home city of
Anton Chekhov were held on September 8, which happened to be Republic of Macedonia's national holiday - The Independence Day. At the end of the group's performance, director Ljupco Pecalevski thanked Taganrog for the warm welcome and congratulated the residents on 318th City Foundation Day.
