July 1, 2022: the sports meeting entitled "Warm Up with a Champion" took place for the first time in Taganrog. It was dedicated to the Olympic Day Run and the National Youth Day.
Over 500 residents of Taganrog, both adults and children, gathered on Pushkinskaya Embankment in order to do exercises introduced by moderators. Among the latter were such well-known figures as the Olympic Champion Varteres Samurgashev, Paralympic Champion Alexander Skaliukh, two-time Paralympic medal winner Yevgeny Zimin, Russian theater and film actor Pavel Derevyanko.
Taganrog City Manager Mikhail Solonitsin congratulated the participants on this notable event.
