March 20, 2026: the roundtable discussion entitled "Special Aspects of Business Operations Across Borders" was held at the College of Economic, Environmental and Social Systems Management of Southern Federal University in Taganrog today. The discussion was co-organized by Economic Development Department of Taganrog Local Government.

The event brought together the chairman of Taganrog Interregional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alexander Amerkhanov, representatives of Taganrog companies, members of the Taganrog Youth Entrepreneurship Council, and students of Southern Federal University. Deputy Director for Social, International, Career Guidance Work of the College of Economic, Environmental and Social Systems Management Yelena Zashchitina served as the moderator of the discussion.

The international students of Southern Federal University spoke about the specifics of doing business in their countries: Egypt (Riad Sandy Emad Wagih), Nigeria (Adeniyi Abib Abiola), and Uganda (Biira Anita).

Tourism and Foreign Relations Department of Taganrog Local Government took direct part in preparations for the roundtable discussion by translating some of the informational and analytical materials into English. During the event, Chief Specialist of Tourism and Foreign Relations Department of Taganrog Local Government Dmitry Koulitchev acted as one of the translators and interacted a lot with the foreign students.

Following the lively discussion, it was decided to continue holding such events in which Russian and foreign representatives of small and medium-sized businesses are interested.
